Summary: 

One of the leading developers and investors in power generation projects in Europe and the USA is currently developing a groundbreaking CCGT project in Spain.

Location:  Madrid

Our client is a leading Investor and Developer in Power Generation assets and infrastructure, they develop, own and operate a growing portfolio of CCGT and Renewables based projects. Currently they are focused on the development of a 1100MW CCGT project in Spain and require a hands on senior project developer to manage the development of this project.

The role will initially be working on a consulting basis for 3 to 6 months rolling contract with possibilities for full time employment at a later stage. The role will involve working as a part of the development team focused on working with local and national stakeholders to resolve permitting and local development issues including but not restricted to, land leases, grid connections, environmental impact assessments, land rezoning.

Ideally you will have a strong project development background in Power Generation and Energy projects, alternatively similar experience within the Oil & Gas or natural resources field will be considered.

Knowledge and experience of Spanish regulatory processes and issues as well as fluency in Spanish are also essential skills.
