Summary Leading UK & International Renewables Developer requires an O&M manager to manage all aspects of onshore and offshore operational wind farms and those in development.

Our client is a recognised leader in the development and operation of onshore and offshore wind farms, this will be a new role within the team and the O&M manager will be instrumental in bringing O&M experience to projects in their early design and construction phases as well as operational wind farms. Key aspects of the role include:
- Responsibility for all operational wind farms. - In particular ensuring that operational sites are managed in accordance with Health & safety Regulations and promoting a strong HSE culture and compliance. - Providing O&M expertise and guidance to projects in pre operations stages. - Liaison with Turbine Manufacturers and involvement in negotiating supply contracts. - Understanding and negotiating supply agreements, warranty & maintenance contracts for current and planned projects. - Detailed knowledge of wind turbines and HV equipment including experience of servicing, problem diagnosis and operation.
This will be a key role with significant input and responsibility for all aspects of operations and maintenance of operational wind farms and those projects currently under construction and all future planned projects both onshore and offshore. You will be expected to manage a team of highly talented engineers and designers and hold responsibility for a multimillion pound budget.
In order to achieve this it is essential that you have O&M experience in either wind or offshore engineering and construction. You will also be a qualified engineer with good communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
