Summary To lead the development of a number of wave energy generation project and testing sites and contribute to the acquisition of new projects and consulting services.

The ideal candidate should possess strong, demonstrable experience and track record of project management and development from the energy or power industries with a strong preference for prior marine energy, Hydro or offshore experience. You should also be educated to degree level or with an equivalent industry / technical qualification.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to manage the ongoing project implementation process including the identification of suitable sites, including managing all environmental studies, consenting and permit processes, along with the effective management of stakeholders, lease and grid connection processes. You will be required to develop scopes of work, prepare proposals, ensure consistent communication with all stakeholders and manage the planning, budgeting and reporting process. You will also be required wherever possible to identify new potential business opportunities.
In order to excel in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, project management skills and have the ability to transfer knowledge to colleagues and learn rapidly new commercial and technical areas. Ideally you will also have fluency in a second relevant European language.
