Our client is a leading consulting and development organisation if the Renewable Energy and related fields. They require a Senior Consultant with a dedicated and professional attitude who will contribute to their continued growth in Wind Energy development across Southern Europe. With extensive experience in the Wind Energy field you will be responsible in this role for negotiating and acquiring projects, as well as on an ongoing basis the process of contracting and managing contracts for commercial clients, like project developers, banks, financial institutions and Local/National Government authorities. 

The role requires a strong academic background or extensive working knowledge and experience in natural sciences or energy technology. You will need proven experience in wind energy, either project development or consultancy, a detailed knowledge of current wind energy developments and a strong network in the Southern European (project developers, consultants, utilities etc) Your strong technical and sector skills will be combined with a strong commercial attitude and business development sense to allow you to identify opportunities in the market. Ideally, you will also have strong financial analysis skills. Fluency in English and a second or third European language is also required.
