Summary
To be the lead technology expert, mentoring the technical and scientific teams, delivering the technologies and solutions that will cement marine energy production as a renewable energy source.

Ideally you will be or have held a similar post in a relevant technical area, this will be evidenced by an existing network of contacts and relationships.  In this role you will be expected to remain fully informed of cutting edge developments and emerging technology in the marine energy sector as well as developing market needs to be able to effectively position the company in its continued development of marine energy technology and gain of market share.

You will provide technical and  commercial analysis of opportunities provided by new technology developments and conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions. The role will also include interfacing with potential investors and also presenting papers to conferences regarding the technology and solutions provided by the company.

Your experience and education will include a strong honours degree and chartered status in Engineering, Physics or Naval Architecture, additionally a post graduate qualification is preferred. You should also have been involved in a previous technology R&D or new product development role.
